For my AP Lit final, we have to choose a poem, find a movie or book (preferably a movie) that applies to it, write a paper about how the two are related, and make a presentation discussing it.

Admittedly, I mainly picked because I thought it sounded cool, but now I'm kind of stumped on it. It's basically implies that even though aesthetic beauty is nice and what not, it'll eventually fade, and can only be preserved through art.
 
Now, I'm mainly having trouble finding a movie (or book) that has a similar theme, so do you guys have any suggestions? It could just be about the perception of beauty, or it could be an example of how beauty should only be appreciated for the sake of beauty itself, or something along those lines.
